Bud & Rasheeda said Yes!

We’re Engaged!

Our Story

Bud and Rasheeda met in 2009 at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Rasheeda was a freshman and Bud was a sophomore. They stayed in the same dormitory hall (Cone Hall) on the same floor (8th floor). Somehow they just kept running into one another but never said anything in person.

Eventually, Rasheeda had one of her friends to send Bud a message on Facebook telling him “ she thought he was cute!” From that message came a friendship that led to a relationship. A relationship that introduced two soulmates to form together to have this marriage.

Nov 23rd, 2018, We Said Yes!

Rasheeda thought she was out for a causal dinner with a long time friend, Bud was supposed to be in Greensboro, N.C. celebrating his father’s birthday. To Rasheeda’s surprise, while eating dinner at Ruth Chris in Charlotte, NC, Bud sent flowers to the table and then came out to propose while Rasheeda was reading a handwritten love note sent with the flowers. It was totally unexpected and beautiful. Oh yeah, of course Rasheeda said yes!!!
